Maura Thomson, AABF Treasurer; Executive Director, Main Street Area Association
Maura Thomson is the energetic networker behind many of the activities that make downtown Ann Arbor one of the most vibrant in our state. She is also out front as a tireless advocate for the merchants, restaurants and business around Main Street, representing their concerns at countless city, DDA and other nonprofit meetings. She is on the board of the Ann Arbor Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Ann Arbor / Ypsilanti Regional Chamber.
After working part-time for three years, Maura became MSAA’s second Executive Director in 2008. Prior to coming to Ann Arbor 1999, Maura worked in Boston at the Tufts Health Plan as a physician relationship specialist. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from University of New Hampshire. Maura joined the AABF board in the fall of 2015.
