Welcome to the archive of the 2016 Ann Arbor Book Festival. For more information on the 2017 Ann Arbor Book Festival, stay tuned!
Each night of the festival, join us in local restaurants, bars, bookstores, and shops to hear Michigan authors and poets read from their latest works. The Book Crawl is a great chance to chat with the authors, buy a great book, enjoy a bite to eat, or chat with friends over a refreshing beverage!
This year we have a full schedule of authors and poets reading on Ann Arbor’s Northside, Downtown Ypsilanti, and Downtown Ann Arbor.
Long considered an artistic oasis and a home to the counterculture, Ann Arbor is the Midwest’s cultural nexus. The AABF street fair is held in idyllic downtown Ann Arbor, a bustling community where the independent book store still thrives. Join like-minded bibliophiles as they set up shop along a beautiful stretch between the University of Michigan and downtown Ann Arbor. This event will gather authors, libraries and literacy groups, publishers, artisans and writers groups and will include dynamic programming. The day’s events will culminate in the last Book Crawl of the festival, in which authors and poets gather at local restaurants, bars, bookstores and shops to read from their latest works.
